It's not they need us a lot less it's that any woman no matter how fat, ugly, or slutty can find a man in some capacity to entertain them.

As men to attract women we need to be appealing in some way even more so for attracting the kind of women you actually want. Women just have to have a vagina in order to have a multitude of options. And he'll that's even debatable I know the transsexuals get tons of attenation too for just looking like women despite whatever hardware they are packing.

The issue comes when a woman can no longer attract the sort of options she actually desires and is stuck in "loser/beta hell" . The demographic of tumblr of course skews younger so they can generally attract the men they want and have plenty to reject. Just keep an eye out for those shaming posts where women criticize fuck boys or lament the loss of "real men" ... they can fuck who they want but can't lock them down for shit.

Women need men more then men need women, however, the modern infrastructure (built by men of course) has met most of these needs. This is also why basically every women today is depressed and forlorn like a socialite from a Jane Austin novel. Modern technological abundance in western nations and feminism has created a selfish un-pleasable creature. If you as a man can provide more then the base needs to a women you are immensely valuable; which is why women chase after rock stars, firemen, comedians, fame, above average salary, aesthetics, athletics, power, emotional connections and the socially connected more then ever. Furthermore as a result of the nature of 'being the best' at something only a small percentage of men can fit these desired roles.

To further address your post women are acting bothered by men on those sites because it shows they have value to other females; and the higher level the man that bothers them the more power from other women they receive. There's nothing more to it. Sites like tumbler and Instagram are advertisements to the opposite and same sex of your SMV; people are judged quickly and then their attention and loyalty is traded around like baseball cards. This is of course a shitty mirror of real world smp dynamics and it's easier to be manipulated and underestimate/overestimate others SMV.

Using round numbers for simplicity's sake, men age 20 to 50 go after women age 20 to 30. So the supply to demand is 3 to 1 in favor of young women. However, when women get older, it flips around. Considering the gender ratio is fairly even in most countries and the vast majority of people pair up and get married, it can't actually be "easier" for women on average because there is an equal number of men and women. It's just different.

It's easy for a man to look at the woman's playbook and claim that it is easy to execute (i.e. just stay in shape, be pleasant, and have some class), just like it is easy for a woman to look at a man's playbook and say it is easy to execute (i.e. just hit the gym and be funny and confident). In fact, a lot of it is overlaps, both sexes need to watch their diet and go to the gym. However, if it is so easy to execute these playbooks, why are there so many fat people? The truth is, most people have their gender's playbook and know it, they just can't execute it.

The main difference between men and women is that attractive men are usually attractive when they are young and old. If a guy is tall, good looking, and fairly intelligent, he is going to be popular in high school, he is going to get a good job that pays well, and he will have money as he gets older. The weird kid who lacks social skills is unlikely to pick it up because he is mocked and excluded from social events and his lack of social networking means he will likely get worse jobs and have less money through his entire lifetime. For women, even the most attractive super model will become unattractive as she ages. Eventually she will be less attractive than an average slightly overweight 20 year old girl. Basically, for men there is a bi-modal type distribution where the high quality boys usually become high quality men and low quality boys usually become low quality men. Crossing over is rare. For women, unless they are horribly disfigured or or have negligent parents that gave her childhood obesity, all of them will experience attractiveness and unattractiveness.

When you look at social media, you are predominantly looking at women or girls under the age of 30. There are plenty of women who are 35+ who are complaining, you just won't hear it that often. The game is more "fair" among women in that all women have a period of attractiveness and unattractiveness, so nobody pities the 35+ year old woman complaining. If we are going to convert a man's attractiveness to a woman's scale, the average man is basically an average 35-40 year old woman, because that is the midpoint for women. Neither will turn heads when walking down the street, they are both average and blend into the environment.

Yeah, plenty of stuff, actually - which they also have to. The thing that explains this imbalance is that women demand a lot more than men.

If - as a woman - you hit a certain attractiveness threshold (which is really easy for the younger crowd), you're going to get male attention, and plenty of it from all sort of guys, and about 99% you aren't interested in (since women, see above, demand a lot more).

Men on the other hand? In order to passively generate the interest the average young woman gets by default, you have to have a lot of stuff going for you.

You aren't seeing the point. Women are avoiding a specific group of men. They are needing and pursuing another actively with pure desperation. So much so in fact that you will find yourself avoiding women ironically.

Women NEED men. But men only need SEX.
