What are your thoughts on these two articles?

These are legitimate problems that need to be addressed. I disagree that black women have things worse than black men though. I also don't think it's true that society pays more attention to black men than it does black women.

Groups like the ACLU have historically focused on minority women. There was an article or press release from the ACLU a few years ago where they basically admitted to this, and claimed they were planning on correcting this in the future.

Now this was before black lives matter but even in the context of BLM, black men are some 20 to 40 times more likely to be the victims of police violence compared to black women. So even if we do talk about violence against black men more than we do black women, it's not like there isn't a good reason for it.

Btw r/equality and r/egalitarianism might like these articles. There was someone complaining that those subs were full of men's rights topics and I feel like this might be a good submission over there to even some of that out.
