You're going to die someday. You've only got one chance to live the life you want. Stop letting the opinions of other people determine what you do with your life.

I know it's hard. I didn't want to get divorced, it's hard to admit defeat. My ex really left me no choice(left me for someone else). But ten years later, I'm actually glad it happened. The thought of being tied down with someone else for the rest of my life fills me with dread.

I just got back from an amazing solo trip to Mexico(Yucatan Peninsula) . Swam in beautiful water, enjoyed tropical drinks on gorgeous beaches, made love to the most beautiful woman I've ever been with in my life, and then a few more(prostitution is legal in Mexico, as well as most other countries). Life is good! You're the prize now, women rapidly depreciate after the age of 30, many are looking for a man to take care of them, DO NOT GET IN A SERIOUS RELATIONSHIP AGAIN! It's a trap! If you're worried about "growing old with someone", don't worry, there will be even more women around when you're in your sixties or older. You can always settle down later, no rush!

Talk to your spouse you are unhappy see if you can reignite the spark, if it doesn't work out cut ties

You are NOT trapped.

You need to stop thinking about what others will do or say and do what is best for YOU. So what if your family is disappointed! I'm sure mine was too, to a degree. Honestly, in my situation they were all completely shocked. This changed overtime and I got the support I need - they see me as MUCH happier now and I'm doing what I needed to do for ME.

You only have your remaining years on this planet.. you can't let being embarrassed prevent you from being happy.

Learn your love languages and see if you just need to figure out how to spark love feelings. Otherwise if you’re just afraid I’d embarrassment then it sounds like you’ve already made up your mind. Just remember divorce sucks. The grass is not always greener on the other side
