She is not wrong. You are projecting your personal biased and confirming it whatever little experience that serves your bias. This is precisely why red pill is toxic. Red pill is not about facts or truth, it’s about living in a echo chamber while men who thinks like you can validate each other.

Men have used women for money throughout centuries. The term gigolo would not exist in English dictionary if it didn’t. It was entirely legal and acceptable for men to marry women with great inheritance and claim it after marriage. While such practice don’t exist in most countries anymore, many men still marry women based on her or her family status.

Women are not hypergamous. Women are mainly endogamous where we tend to marry our equal. The problem is that men are more likely to overestimate their attractiveness and underestimate women’s attractiveness. So, they think when a woman is marrying her equal in terms of attractiveness she is marrying up, even though she really isn’t.

i dunno this thing exist in westerns society or not, but in my country indonesia, there is a term/slang "matre" (means materialistic/golddiggers). Originally there is a term "cewek matre" (materialistic woman) which used to depict the women who are with their boyfriend/spouse only for the money/materialistic reasons. But, what's unique is that another term "cowok matre" (materialistic man) also popular. Seen many examples of this, these type of man are manipulative, narcissistic, only use their girlfriend to feed their materialistic interests, borrowing money, persuading the girl to buy goods for him, etc. I'm quite familiar with these type of man in my experience, one of them is my uncle, which is really promiscous (married several times) but at the same time always using his woman to benefit him financially (he never have a decent or stable job). That's why i do think the "female hypergamy" thing mentioned a lot by Terpers which they say hardwired in female biology aren't that universal.
