The patriarchy does exist but definitely not the in the West and it’s not what most people think it is either. The patriarchy is a wonderful system that both men and women thrive under, look at the East for example. Healthy and happy people. The matriarchy is the current system in power in the West.

Patriarchy is not a thing, women are just naturally inclined to be followers instead of leaders. You can even see this in play with children. Give a Boy a stick, and he will see it as a gun or a sword to conquer his problems and vanquish his enemies. Give a girl the same stick, and she will see it as a magic wand to make herself a beautiful princess, or a baby that she can swaddle and clothe and take care of. Which example shows who has the most ambition, which will lead to success in the world on your own merit and which one shows that you are more inclined to be a follower, a supporter? In play, boys go out and conquer things, girls rather try to nurture and take care of effigies of babies, play nurse and homemaker. That's the way it's always been in society. It's even like that in higher primates. That's why when you look at it with the intention of fixing blame to men, it looks like men kept women down, when in reality, women are where they are simply because of biological instincts that are different between the sexes. Nobody's to blame, it's simply the way biology and psychology works out. And even though it's reflected in women's choices toward jobs where they work with, or take care of people. Men choose jobs where they work with, or take care of things. Men have the more dangerous and societally important jobs so they get paid more. Women choose to be caregivers naturally, so they tend toward the service economy, retail, and other jobs where they generally interact with a lot of people on a daily basis. Nobody is guiding them to these jobs and steering them away from jobs that will give them more pay. They do this to themselves. It's their biology. Most women generally don't like STEM because it's very lonely, and women are very social by nature compared to men.

And feminism is a toxic ideology created by white women married to wealthy men, who had a grudge against their husbands not allowing them to own property. They felt they needed to get women of all cultures and races involved in their exclusive little war with men, so they paid women's publications to start pushing their ideology, and due to women by nature being socially influenced, and easily instead of thinking for themselves, we have conflict between the genders on the scale that was unimagined back then. These now-elderly and mostly dead women have even gone on to say they regret what they've done because they did not think it would hurt the fabric of society to this extent.
