This may just be me shouting into the void, but I wanted to discuss the topic of weight as I’ve seen a few posts lately addressing this point.

Now I know this isn’t the majority of commenters and posters, but it’s worth noting that I’ve seen enough comments with tones of subtle weight shaming in a couple posts I’ve seen in the last month or two. I know we’re all about self improvement here and being truthful and based in reality, but coming from someone in recovery from an eating disorder - I feel it’s worth examining how we discuss and dissect this topic. Of course it’s important to eat healthily and stay in shape, but some people may always be on the high end of a normal ‘BMI’ or may not get there despite their hardest and best efforts. Worse yet, it would be awful for these comments to inadvertently cause someone to spiral or feel like they can only land a man if they’re under 120lbs. I really enjoy the discussions and viewpoints here, but this is one of the areas I feel it may be worth treading a bit more sensitively/carefully. Maybe even adding a ‘CW or TW’ around posts regarding diet or weight? Anyway, just needed to get this off my chest and was curious to hear what others thoughts are.
