This book changed my life.

Or at least reading it was a spark to start working on myself. Joining mens groups, going to therapy, being honest with my partner about what I want from our relationship.

My life changed for better in all aspects.

Not every self help book is red pilled. Lets get that straight….

I read it many years ago when I was 14 or so. I recall it being helpful and not too heavy on "redpill" ideology. Generally books that redpill guys call "purplepilled" are basically just the healthy, non emotionally avoidant version of the redpill ideology.

Good book that touches on deeper layers than the usual stuff. Thanks for reminding me, it's been a while since I read it

Good book - it’s about healthy masculinity. It does have stereotypes about men being men which can be corny. It also does have cliche stories in there which may help give examples on what improvement could look like. But the real power is in the activities it has in it, to build confidence and really look at the weak areas of yourself snd how you can live a happier life for yourself

I don't know. It does seem to reinforce some stereotypes, about how men need to be men and buff or whatever, and for a lot of guys, that's not the solution, or it's not who they are, period.
