Growing up, my sister got away with stuff I was severely punished for. That was perhaps my first introduction to gynocentrism.

I will state this and you can analyze however want: I know a family that has twins, girl and boy. As they grew up they both became losers in their own way, since the family was poor and uneducated so bad conditions. The girl became a whore and high school drop out. The boy became a drug dealer, criminal, high school drop out. Girl ended up working as a waitress and living with boyfriend. Boy ended up in military as infantry private.

The boy was hit more. But I’m wondering why if they were twins and had the same conditions growing up, the boy ended up doing “worse things” that would be justifiable to hit for. The dad punched the boy so hard once he broke his hand.

Yeah I even caught myself doing it. I expect more out of my son then the girls subconsciously. It's something I have to constantly fight with, just to keep it more even.

Boys get more I have observed this, when I was in a lecture, the teacher was announcing the grades we got and how much more work will we have to do as per the grades, I remember there was a girl who got the lowest grade and started crying the teacher didn't gave her any extra work even though she had the lowest grade, the teacher is a male btw, later I asked him why'd he do it he said he didn't wanna get into trouble as he had gotten into trouble before on such petty matters.

Oh absolutely. I was at a work party once and a coworker brought her 2 kids, a little boy and his older sister. The girl was wandering around making a mess of everything, throwing shit, knocking things over, and she followed her around and picked up and talked about how cute and curious she was...The boy played with some blocks the whole time, and after being told to put them back he did. Then, he thought for a moment and dumped them out again...I'm not 100% sure what he was thinking, but it didn't seem rebellious, or malicious. Maybe he wanted to put them away again but more organized? Maybe he wanted to see what would happen? But what happened was he got a massive scolding and a time out after he put them away again...

I think generally speaking this shit makes us better as human beings though. I imagine he'll go on to take responsibility for his actions and his sister won't. A story as old as time.

Never got spanked and my mother found a god sent. Using the corner as punishment for me and my siblings so I think it might be just bases on how their parents "discipline" and I use that very loosely as punishment and discipline are two very different things.

Girls also receive more positive physical contact. Girls are praised just for being cute or pretty. Boys must do something to receive praise. So, it makes sense that boys are punished harder for failure.
