This is how it should be. But most guys are so horny that their brains don't work. A guy could use a girl pic, girl name or just claim he was a girl and most guys will extend these same privileges to “her”. No one should be a girl on the internet or....
Guys should stop giving privileges in the real world and online. Well things are getting better.

Without going to damaging extremes, there's room for culture to maximize or minimize this factor; but not to eliminate it. Instead, we should eventually adapt culture to work with this basic impulse and manage it.
People can even take some steps in real life. For example, if a smart woman is wise and wants people to focus on her ideas, she will dress more conservatively and forego a lot of make up. Essentially, she will dull the brilliance of her beauty and especially the sexual aspect of it. It totally works. Is it fair? No. Really good looking guys don't need to uglify the way a gorgeous girl does. But people, including women but especially men, really have trouble focusing on a woman's ideas if she is drop dead gorgeous and her fashion and style amplify that beauty.

And these girls want the right to dress provocatively and demand that men control their impulses. This is cruel. I mean the point of social norms is to find a middle ground that works. There is a reason people cant dress this way at work, it distracts you.
The whole “its not my problem, control your urges you filthy animal” does not help. Wearing high heels at work, make up. Then I see women complaining about how they feel forced to wear it. I don't really understand it all...

Right. But at the same time, when you have an individualistic culture with very little top down control, now that social respectability and religion are mostly gone, it feels inequitable to start picking on one thing at a time.
Like everything goes, but that? You have to remember that we are all slaves to our dopamine and endorphin rushes. So attractive women get a big rush from being pretty, both in terms of male attention (from the right men) and from dominating in female intrasexual competition. So in such a society, it feels really unfair for us to take away one of their main dopamine hits when everyone else still gets theirs.

Ahh that's a very good point. I was being selfish haha. Well i am opposed to this individualistic culture. Humans have become way too complacent about survival and stopped caing about the collective. We need lofty goals like interstellar travel, immortality, singularity to rally for. We are devolving back to animals when we fight against cultural control.
For the sake of efficiency at work, well adjusted kids, humans have to sacrifice these short term pleasures. We can reward them with more meaningful pleasure and contentment.

Should have seen the thread where I suggested we stop using make up in the workplace and day-to-day public sphere. I also threw in unnecessarily revealing and tight clothes, high heels, jewelry, long nails and polish, and the like. Applied it to men and women.
Women lost their shit. The amount of hamstering was insane. That's when I read between the lines and realized that this was basically about 'why do you get your dopamine and self-esteem hits, while we have to lose ours?' Did a post about men not playing video games at all, ever. Same hamstering from men.

Yeah, I've done posts about porn too. Same hamstering. In all cases I was first just trying to get agreement on a theoretical basis: life would be better with no porn. Ignore the practical or the issues with free speech and distinguishing between legitimate erotic elements and porn, etc. Just assume we could work that all out. Wouldn't we be better without porn in theory? So many 'No' opinions for bad reasons.

That's dumb people will give you special treatment on the internet just for saying you're female no matter what. That's why some dudes say they are.
Actually the online advantage is even better than irl bc you could be a fat ugly dude or landwhale but say you're a girl, and men will automatically envision a pretty one, and consequently treat you even better than they would irl
