Calling women derogatory slurs is so normalized that most people don't even recognize those slurs as such. A man can follow a woman, harass her, and call her several slurs but if she retaliates and calls him one she is the evil person and worse than than him. Clown world and clown reddit

(Ahem, never mind that those slurs are still predominantly used on women, patriarchal religions where women’s sexuality is strictly controlled are still dominant all over the world, and women get murdered at merely the perception of being a “wh0re”.)

Black men are some of the worst offenders when it comes to street harassment & misogyny. It’s even worse if you’re a Black woman because these BM believe they’re more entitled to your attention & body than a non-Black woman.

Latinos are a close second. The only time I’ve been hollered at from a moving vehicle or on a sidewalk/street light has been from a Black or Latino man. I live in San Diego for context.
