Related but re. books/fiction: 'Good Girl Messages' by Deborah O'Keefe. It's years since I read it but it examines how female characters/heroines serve us (or rather, disserve us) messages about what female behaviour is and should be, and the outcomes of femininity that we should expect.

Which aren't always helpful or correct, as everyone on here knows.

The whole channel is great. He, of course, gets a lot of flack from men sometimes (the usual white knight bs).

But one thing I noticed and it honestly made me so irritated. As soon as he put up a video about the harrassment of MEN in movies, it got a gazillion more views.
