Hopefully, there’s also hope that pickmes will listen. One of my male friends tells it like it is…which often means just pointing out the obvious. For example, when a man says, “I’m not looking for anything long term,” it means he’s not looking for something long term/just wants sex. One of our pickme friends will still ask, “You don’t think he’s just afraid of rejection so he uses sex to keep people from getting too close?”

That's why it's important to block. Don't give anyone the chance to keep you chasing their crumbs of affection so they can use you. This also applies to manipulative and user "friends"
