It's an insecurity issue , you felt threatened because you saw someone you perceived as competition for you in the area . I think feeling aggressive towards others is a very insecure behavior if you aren't in a social situation that you " own" . Depending on the environment it may be better than others.

Say you were both lions and one of you had claim to a harem if a fight happened then it would only make sense because . only one of you can have the harem .

However let's say you were both at a watering hole stalking for prey and you both detected each other their but there were all sorts of gazelles , and antelopes, and wildebeasts just hanging out ready to be pounced on . What Value could you possibly glean from trying to take down the other predator who himself is just on the prowl versus actually scoping out your prey and striking when you get the right moment ?

To me it's an issue of abundance , you can go for any woman in the room, sure their may be potential competition but if you make her swoon then the other guy ceases to exist for a while . Being aggressive with the other alpha guy in the room is a waste , if anything get a drink with him and trade notes the betas aren't that interesting typically why surround yourself with people you KNOW you have a leg up on unless they are doing something for you ?

Seems pretty natural honestly. If humans are anything like these lizards, then only BP dudes are really capable of being friends with each other. Rp dudes won't really be able to get past seeing each other as a threat.

I was this way from an early age. As a kid, I attacked everyone who I thought was disrespecting me. Luckily enough, I got into a boxing gym where I could get these physical competitive needs met.

In short, you probably can't alter everything about how you think and feel and your competitive nature, but get into something more directly competitive than lifting and you'll see yourself calm down in other situations, your confidence will grow, and that combative nature won't be there in social situations anymore.

personally i think it's natural to feel this way. Alphas are naturally in competition with each other anyway.

But I think you do have an issue. If another man's witty comments are pushing your emotions out of control, then your frame is weak. You are letting your entire mental state getting affected by another person. This is not healthy for you. Learn to realize that not every other alpha is trying to threaten you or have intentions of bringing you down.

I think you need to think about why you feel this way. Do you think you are insecure, or do you feel jealous of another alpha?
