I'm 18 years of age and recently lost my virginity. I used a condom the first time we had sex but she is on birth control so I did not use a condom and pulled out the other times we had sex. Last night, she blames me for giving her chlamydia when the only other sexual encounter I've had was oral a few months ago.

I may have given it to her, and I'm going to get tested tomorrow, but I highly doubt it for many reasons.

  1. I lost my virginity to her and she is the only woman I've had sex with.

  2. She was tested 7 days after the first time we had sex, and I've read that it takes 2 weeks for the chlamydia to actually catch and show up on tests.

  3. She is much more sexually active than I am and even though she says she hasn't been with anybody besides me for 6 months and has been tested between then, I do not believe her.

I'm honestly just scared and confused. It feels unreal and I never thought this could happen. Also, should I pay for the test through my parents health insurance or out of pocket? I really would like to keep it away from my parents, but if it's an expensive test then I would have to use the insurance.
