My ex-wife lied under oath, violated court orders and was caught using our daughters bank accounts to steal marital money and she STILL walked away with everything I spent 35 years of my life working for.

The divorce was the best thing to ever happen to me.

I would never recommend marriage to a man. There's nothing to gain and everything to lose.

That is a sad story. My divorce was also a slow incremental process, but that gave me time to plan. Not sure I understand why he had to move out to a mate's attic... we sold our joint-owned house and went separate ways, to new houses. Maybe I'm just lucky.

I was very happily married recently. She professed undying love for me at every turn (and I for her). I got cancer. Had it gone. Out of the blue she ghosted on me. Cancer came back. I was close to suicidal for a few weeks. That was 7 months ago and I'm just starting to feel normal again. Females live in the moment. Men plan. We're very different creatures.

It's nice they wrote an article about but everyone, everyone esp. women know Men get completely and totally fucked by the Family Court system. UK or USA the fucking is the same for Men.

We were the perfect couple with my wife but one day she vanished and appeared the next day saying an ex-BF was visiting the city and she spend the night with him. We even called the police to file for a missing person, lol.

Actually she was quite nice about the divorce, she never asked for money, always allows me to see my kid, to be honest, she was an horrible wife but its the perfect ex, I was very lucky.

I have a friend in the UK who got divorced and he told me that:

1) Never move out of the family house, no matter how uncomfortable it is to live there. The minute you voluntarily move out she wins everything.

2) Keep a record with dates and times and video evidence if possible.

I read some research that said, in general, women recover from divorce better than men, at least on an emotion level. They are better able to heal, and move on, whereas men tend to obsess over the lost love and suffer a lot of remorse/regret that makes it hard to move forward. I'm sure every case is different. I can only speak from my personal experience. I got a divorce five or six years ago because she had become violent, abusive, and promiscuous, and she ended up taking like 99% of everything I owned. The only thing she didn't take was my motorcycle, and that's because I had it hidden at my friend's house. If it wasn't with him she would have taken it too. I basically had to start my life over from scratch, and it's taken a few years to recover financially, emotionally, etc... I have no idea how she's doing because she cut off all contact. I hope she's okay. Even though it ended horribly I don't have any hard feelings towards her. Forgive and forget, live and learn. Healing is a process, I'm getting better every day.

That's just proof men are parasitizing off of women taking care of them.

It had absolutely nothing to do with them having their identity on spring a wife and kids, then being thrown out like garbage and told by your loved ones and society at large that is your fault, and no longer finding a reason to actually care for yourself.
