"#MeToo is over if we don’t listen to ‘imperfect victims’ like Amber Heard"; Gross article denies Men can be victims of abuse & encourages people to never believe Men. Individuals such as this are why so many Men feel uncomfortable about opening up or seeking support.

If it takes this much pain & suffering for someone as wealthy/famous as Johnny Depp to get justice, imagine the amount of struggling the average man goes through in a False Accusation

We have so many programs/scholarships trying to increase the number of women in STEM majors. STEM employers aggressively recruit women, even when their resumes are weaker than male job seekers. Yet, we never see the same for men seeking jobs in occupations dominated by women (i.e., nursing, teaching etc).

hell, men who are more qualified in stem get rejected

[–]DworkinPill 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Do you know for sure there are no scholarships or programs to get men in nursing or teaching?

[–]Tayaradga 7 points8 points9 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Idk about nursing but i wanted to be a math teacher. I got 0 support besides the grants that i qualified for because of my disabilities. Which even then wasnt really jack shit. I had to drop out my first year just because i couldnt afford college and i couldn't get a loan for it. Yet the women that i helped in math class got everything paid for by scholarships and grants and all the other sorts. So yea I can say there isnt much support for men trying to get into teaching.

Theyre not the reason is societal sexism and sexism within the work place unfortunately

Fortunately there are special set asides for women yet they still don't go into stem. I guess women, some of whom I met, will be forced into engineering because of feminist pressure just to become high school math teachers so they can have people contact. One less engineer.

I dont think so, we both know what the real issue is here but just go on and ignore reality lmfao

[–]OldEgalitarianMRA 10 points11 points12 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Thanks for that well reasoned argument.

This truth hurts feminists deep down. I think there are more trolls on this post so far than MRA's.

One reason I picked a STEM major 25 years ago was so I could minimize the number of BS “woke” liberal arts classes I had to take. Sounds like its only gotten worse.

As the modern feminist strives to create a more equal outcome for their brethren, they inadvertently create a disparity that grows wider due to a poor understanding of the underlying key performance indicators.

This is proof positive of college educational sex differences inadvertently promulgated by feminism. It goes hand-in-hand with the information demonstrating that feminist's efforts to decrease IPV by providing resources for only women has, in fact, made men safer.

They can only cry wolf so many times before nobody listens anymore.

[–]Kindly-Town 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Feminists want women to dominate in every occupation. We don't even have that much population of women.

[–]WhereProgressIsMade 11 points12 points13 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Not quite every occupation. They seem fine letting men dominate things like garbage collection and coal mining.

[–]Tayaradga 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Don't forget skyscraper antenna repair men and sewage workers!! Some of the more dangerous jobs that are 90% or more men.

The S in STEM means "science" which includes plenty of people orientated sciences such as psychiatry and other medical. Feminists define STEM specifically to make women sound like victims -- like EVERYTHING else they talk about -- whereas they are the majority in STEM.

[–]Schadrach 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Be careful about that. Often when talking about STEM medical fields (especially nursing) and sometimes biology are specifically not included because they get too many women.

[–]DavidByron2 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah like feminist "domestic violence" doesn't include most forms of DV because most forms of DV are mostly committed by women. Instead they define all DV as that small part that is 50-50 men and women while excluding, child abuse, elder abuse etc.

I'm pointing out feminists lie with their definitions (redefinitions) of words.

What is always the case is that the judge will reprimand the false accuser in the severest terms for undermining confidence in the process and hence potentially causing juries to doubt an alleged victim’s claims in future cases. ... it is a tacit admission of the judges’ lack of confidence in their own judicial process. Sexual assault cases have, in truth, veered away from the standards of ‘innocent until proven guilty’ and ‘beyond reasonable doubt’. The combination of the nature of the law, the operational practices of prosecutors, and the courts themselves, have allowed a system to arise in which a man can be incarcerated for many years based entirely on the unsubstantiated word of the accuser. Judges’ harsh words to proved-false accusers are therefore motivated, in part, because they reflect so badly on the practices which the judges have allowed to arise. They know they are culpable themselves and it would be more convenient if false accusers did not come to light.
