How important are lips? Somedays I feel like mine completely turn women off.

For most of my life I've always had a lip biting problem. I bite off the skin of my lips. When the lip starts healing and regrowing, I bite it off again because its solid and looks terrible.

I've tried chapstick, lipbalm, vaseline etc. but there is no permanent solution. I want to regain a pair of kissable lips.

I'm asking this community on the importance of lips to attraction. Once I determine that, I'm going to really research solutions to this issue.
