I can proudly say i've been banned from at least 3 subreddits for my membership to others. Its fine though, they made it real easy for me to find 3 subreddits I don't ever want to be part of again.

I was banned for life from a sub I never visited. It was because I posted in another sub and they monitored my account, saw that I posted there and made the effort to let me know that I was banned.

Funny things are that

I would have NEVER posted in that sub.
the fact that they felt the need to come tell me about their ban, tells me quite a bit about them.

As well as - The only way to seek retribution is to go through r/facepalm and downvote every single post on there, downvote all the new posts so they stop appearing at the top of all, and subscribed feeds. Theoretically you could suffocate the subreddit by limiting it's visibility.

Me too. Same sub. Funny thing was that I wasn't even subbed to facepalm...go figure. The mods here essentially told me that they were aware of this and it's been happening for a while from some bot. They didn't seem to care. Neither do I; who needs em.
