What’s to keep the woman from using a pre-planned playbook made by the man to acquire a fake persona, if he didn’t already show her how to do it herself?

They were in on this scheme together, after all.

Also, bail/bond needs to be abolished - either someone is safe enough to be released while awaiting trial, or they are not. It shouldn’t matter how much money someone has.

The funny thing is, in this case, she is the one who is most likely the person behind the hack. She has done lots of reporting on how to keep your bitcoin safe and has even given talks on how to social engineer your way out of anything.

Seems like the judge got socially engineered. I will laugh my ass off if she disappears.

Personal bias is a real thing. People need to understand their biases and learn how to get past them and look at the actual evidence.

Similar bullshit happened with my brother and his ex. Both got arrested under the same charges and sent to prison on remand. She was released in two weeks with no further action to be taken but he was kept on remand for 2 months and then spent 6 months on tag before they finally drop all charges the day before court due to lack of evidence.
