This is already all over with the news of what's going on in the Ukraine, articles and such mentioning convoys with women and children, and as usual, nothing about men. This is so infuriating and in 2022 it's still being made how women are the most affected by anything. What's going on in the Ukraine is awful for everyone; men, women, children and animals alike. But as usual, we have to hear the usual diatribe about how women are the most affected and apparently men don't matter. When they mention children they no doubt mean primarily girls because again, the notion that war and conflict somehow affects females more despite the majority of combat and war-time deaths being male. I hate this and it reeks of disgusting opportunism to try to marginalize male victims of warfare and make it that they don't matter. War is an equal opportunity offender and men, women, children and animals all suffer, and yet we have to hear the usual "women most affected" BS. I know there's women who hate this too, especially those who are mothers of sons. Basically telling them their sons don't matter because male disposability.
