Women tend to date and marry up. Therefore she's automatically depending on you somewhat even just after a few short months of you elevating her lifestyle.

Then if you threaten to break up with her you are essentially threatening to withhold finances from her so then you are guilty of domestic violence. My god.

These types of proposed laws never factor in the fact that women are hypergamous.

Even when divorce laws 'on paper' seem to treat both people evenly but that's not the case because the vast vast majority of the time the male makes more money than the female. Not because of sexism or anything else just that women seek men that have more resources than they do.

I encourage all men interested in marriage to read through the Duluth Act, which is the basis for domestic violence laws in the U.S. There is literally no mention, whatsoever, of anything other than male against female violence, even though women are far more likely to commit physical violence

Holy crap!! That last clause. Let me put my legal hat on and give an example: Women becomes financially dependent on man (let’s say BF/GF meet GF has no income and stays with BF). 2 weeks into the relationship she decides she places an ad wanting random dudes to come over and gangbang… now if the “BF” tries to stop this, kick her out, etc that’s coercion and by that clause “Economic Abuse”.

The way that’s worded you would be insane to tie yourself in any way to a woman. Hell, even paying a hooker could land you in a world of hurt if she’s got a lawyer on her side.

That is some of the worse law writing I’ve ever seen… looks like it was written by an angry feminist right after getting dumped by a dude on Tinder for not getting her way wanting her 3 kids, their fathers and her 10 cats to move in and all be provided for and feeling victimized for that

Calling BS on this one. It's been cherry picked and biased comments included to make it look one-sided. Even in the text itself here it states (emphasis is mine):

Domestic violence is most often perpetrated by men against women with whom they are in an intimate partner relationship and their children; however, anyone can be a victim or perpetrator of domestic violence.

This is a 202 word document, in which the word "men" appears only once, the word "man" appears 3 times in an example in which a man is the aggrieved, the word "women" appearing only 4 times (as shown here), and the word "woman" not appearing anywhere. Outside of these examples the word "person" is used.

This is the Patriarchy writing laws that will never affect them, but will punish millions of ordinary men, who have no role at all in "The Patriarchy".

You never have to worry about indebted and family-strapped men rising up against injustice.

THIS is how the Patriarchy hurts men too. Not by telling men they shouldn't have feelings. Men have feelings, women just find them inappropriate because they can't empathize.
