Hey everyone - hoping to get advice with regards to handling days when you are down for the count with the flu.

Context: My ex and I split custody 40% me and 60% her. Kids domiciled with her. I'm trying to appeal my recent custody judgment and get 50% custody. Unfortunately, we don't get along. Rarely is there cooperation. Also, my kids are constantly sick when I pick them up... Consistently. The are all under 10 years of age. In fact, my last parent time two of my kids were super sick with the flu. My ex was sick too. My wife and I took care of the kids and nursed them back to health as much as we could but when it was transition day they were still in recovery. And my oldest confided in me that he didn't want to go back to his mom's because he said his mom doesn't take care of him. Anyways, after the kids left my wife got super sick with the flu and has been bed ridden for past 3 days. Honestly never have seen her this sick. Now I'm sick too and it's hitting me hard. The problem is i have parent time tomorrow for just one night and I feel that my wife and I will be incapable of taking care of them. Because I'm fighting for 50/50 custody and if I cancel my parent time she can use it against me because I've cancelled parent time in the past 3 months due to COVID-19. What should I do? Am I being realistic with my fear? I'm not trying to sound like a wuss but i really feel incapable of taking care of my kids tomorrow. 4 under 10 is a lot to manage.
