Today after living with my buddy, moving to a new state with only the clothes on my back and my dog, we get into a argument going to work after my dog threw up a second time on his bed. It turned from what we should do with my dog, to saying "You aint going to be living here forever". Not really sure how to handle this because i never intended on staying there forever and we already talked about how long would it take to get back to my feet which was 2 years.

I'm pissed off and I'm not sure what i should do in this situation because this isn't the first time he has done this. The first time was because he was black out drunk and said it cause he was having a pissy day and I disagreed with something which made him upset. Its not like I'm struggling. I'm a 100% VA Veteran so ill always have a steady income(Most then what jobs are usually giving in wages). This was supposed to help get me back on my feet and now with summer coming up in AL, the heat is about to be bad and im currently living in his garage but we planned on turning his detached garage into my living space. Even when i said "We need to bust out that shed so i can finally move into it and let my dog stay in there so he wont throw up or do any dumb shit". He then says ALL the excuses saying something else needs to be done like his truck or his kids.

Now mind you, he is not a single parent. He has his GF watch the kids while at work. I am by no means in any ground to tell you how you need to raise your family, but to me its super frustrating when we cant even get what we agreed on with the shed then you start pulling out this card. Don't get it twisted, I'm very thankful for him letting me in his house. Pay not only him the rent, but also his woman extra grocery money on time, no issues. I'm just not sure how to handle this situation and whether or not i should start looking for a new place
