Yes in normal sense when woman slaps a man it doesn't leave as much as damage as when man slaps a woman.

We know women are far more likely to use a weapon.

Physical abuse by men is more severe than that by women, that is why even though most non reciprocated domestic abuse is committed by women, people just assume only men can do it. BUT, men are more likely to commit suicide as a result of DV.

My ex used to wake me up with a sharp object of some sort (forks, steak knives, turkey carving knife) in the middle of the night because my phone would vibrate and she’d say with the blade in my face “who the fuck is that? Huh? Who’s texting you?” And it’d be like an ESPN notification. Aside from the times she’s attempted to stab me and even swung a limb saw at my face and I luckily ducked fast enough and bolted out of there. That was the last weeks of that relationship, although the physical/mental abuse was for the entire 1.5 years. She ended up diagnosed as a schizophrenic, and is a drug addict now. Don’t feel one bit sorry for her because I still struggle with sleeping, and many other things. Hope that anybody going through something like this understands that it’s not okay, and they need to lookout for themselves. I was foolish for a long time not seeing how horrible of a situation I was in.

My dad slapped my mom once cuz she was getting mad for an argument and it was the only time my dad slapped her. My mom scratched his face, hit him several times, once she gave him a slap that blew my dad's timpanum. Not only that, she was doing psychological abuse. I can't save my father either but i think my mom was far more aggresive. My dad was only verbal.
