I'd like advise from other lifters and bodybuilders. I haven't lifted in years, mostly due allocating my time toward my university, studying hard and now I landed on office job. My future in corporate is now set, I'm solid on the path and have more time to myself. So I decided to start bodybuilding, which is especially important for me since I'll be working at a desk about 9 hours a day.

But then the DOMS set in, hard, and I never quite experienced something like this before. I started about two days ago, and it hurts to move. My biceps in particular are painful where the tendon attaches to the elbow. I know some muscular pain is normal and good, but would it be a good idea to work through it? I'm eating a lot of protein and adjusted my diet for my new routines, but I want to get through this first few weeks. If this sets me back as I just get started, I fear I won't make any significant progress.
