Wtf is wrong with those people?!?

[–]YuenHsiaoTieng 28 points29 points30 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Pedo hysteria is a disease

[–]Terminal-Psychosis 22 points23 points24 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It has nothing to do with Pedo "hysteria". It has to do with straight up misandry.

Notice this kind of accusation doesn't happen against women. At least not nearly as much.

It's all about control

[–]Dog-knight27 46 points47 points48 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Ah the usual the man must be a predator stick

[–]TinyRose20 30 points31 points32 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This mindset is why I can take my toddler daughter to parent and baby swimming classes alone, and my husband needs me to go with him so I can get her changed in the ladies changing rooms and pass her over to him. it's ridiculous and needs to stop, when those swim classes are on literally ever man in the changing room is there for his kid as the small pool has the babies and the big pool has the SEN kids lessons. Predators can be either male or female. Caregivers can be male or female. We need to stop assuming that any man or male presenting person interacting with kids is somehow sick. This is sexism and it's good for exactly NOBODY, kids included.

Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

one thing for sure is that that dad sure has a selfie stick

[–][deleted] 31 points32 points33 points 4 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

I was once accused of taking pictures of someone elses kids..... when I had my back to them taking pictures of the amazing views on top of a freaking mnt.

The kids were super embarrassed once their mom started going crazy.

Someone else who seemed like their aunt apologized and said their dad was in prison for taking pictures of them and I was like ok Jesus I hVe empathy for that but still you don't start just yelling at strangers on a nice hike for no reason.

[–]Azuzu88 16 points17 points18 points 4 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

When I was a manager at a mcdonalds I had a woman come to me and accuse a man of taking photos of her kids. I spoke to him but what the fuck can I do? I have no authority to search his phone or arrest him, and I have no evidence that he was doing it in the first place. The guy decided to just leave rather than deal with her.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

You don't have access to security cameras?

[–]Azuzu88 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Yeah but they were potato quality, unless he was being extremely overt about taking the photos there was no way I would be able to tell what he was doing. I also had a restaurant to run, didn't have time to sit down and review video footage.

[–]casra888 7 points8 points9 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

It doesn't matter. In public, zero expectations of privacy. The photographer can take all the pics of kids they like and it's perfectly legal.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Yea but in a business you can refuse service, or better yet be situational aware. More than one trafficking victim.has been saved by aware customer service people.

[–]casra888 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

You think *traffickers" just grab people with a butterfly net? You think you need a photographer to kidnap someone? Are you insane?

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

no, I guess you're the kind of person, who if you don't understand what someone says, invents increasingly illogical strawmen versions of that till you think they are crazy?

they are two separate thigns numbnuts. separate examples. I've personally been working a customer service job when two men tried to kidnap a young girl, without force. Rode up on motorcycles and started talking to kids in line for an alpine slide. Cops were called and these two guys had previous records for child sex asault.

They weren't traffickers, but trafficking victims have also been taken to fast food places and freed there by employees who called the cops because they were paying attention.

America has more sex slaves than any other country on earth. They are around. Shit does happen.

[–]casra888 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No. I'm the kind of person that sees someone come up with some incredibly stupid prejudgement and shows just how illogical it is. I don't believe you. You're a liar. You think Africa, the mid east, India, Chiba and everywhere south of the border isn't teeming with sex slaves? You don't know a damn thing.

[–]john35093509 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

"America has more sex slaves than any other country on earth."

Do you have evidence for that? Even if you do, what does that have to do with photography?

[–]HipHoppOpotamus13 -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Based on your comments, I get the feeling you take pictures of kids in public. Might not be illegal, but you're still weird.

[–]casra888 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm a photographer you moron. We take pictures of everything. Take a look at the 100 most important pictures in history. Lots of kids. Try not being so blind and stupid.

[–]casra888 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Photographer rights. She's in public, the kids are in public. Zero expectations of privacy and the photographer can take as many pictures as they like. Perfectly legal.

[–]ResidentEvil10 93 points94 points95 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Now, as a 190cm tall man in a scary leather jacket, I am going to pepper spray a woman I see that takes pictures of their children, and lets compare the reaction and if equality exist :)

[–]ShyamGopal02 54 points55 points56 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Be careful. You might face rape charges and might be sent to sentenced for 2 lives. This one and next one too

[–]whenuwork 32 points33 points34 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Don't forget aggravated assault with a weapon, and attempted murder charge, and hateful gender crime charge and other crime they'll create to slap on him just because he's 190cm and wore a leather jacket

[–][deleted][S] 27 points28 points29 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And don’t forget the additional crimes they’ll create to slap on him just because he’s a man. Oh, and we especially can’t forget all the people who’ll dedicate their lives to spewing their full hatred and wishing death upon him

[–]nokappa1 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

He might get off if he lives his next life as a woman.

[–]1NearbyAccident1 22 points23 points24 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

When people have nothing better to do in life…

[–]TP_Crisis_2020 18 points19 points20 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This isn't surprising. I've ran across this a lot when I've taken my daughter out in public. I stopped taking her to the park completely because of some karens that went apeshit one time thinking they busted a pedo and scared her.

Even picking her up from school when she was in grade school was risky.

[–]SaintLogic 11 points12 points13 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

When I used to walk my nephew to the park, I could get wave after wave of fear that women were going to do this. Or worst, call the cops in me.

[–]wispo-wills 8 points9 points10 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I would claim that Feminism caused the uprising of certain "Karen" type women to frantically and hysterically calling CPS for the slightest "hint" of abuse that's highly likely not even abuse, as well as causing men to be completely unable to be around kids. If he's alone around his own, he's a pedo. Single dad? Pedo. If he's with his young nephews and nieces alone, pedo, If he's briefly alone with his friends' kids, pedo. Same sidewalk as a kid and he smiles at the kid because kids are cute? Pedo. Men can't even TALK to a kid or save his life from a traffic accident without being assumed a pedo.

This is also why there's an increasing and highly unnecessary paranoia of "pedos online tryna snatch up yer kids" - those pedos don't fucking exist more times than not but it's Feminism that leads people into this moral panic that's based entirely off misandry. Women take up about 20%, possibly more if people actually BELIEVED women can be abusers, of pedophile cases, yet that's conveniently ignored because she "doesn't look like a pedo". What does that even mean??? "She's too pretty, she's a woman, she couldn't possibly want to diddle a kid!" This shit infuriates me. Women can be just as fucked up as men. Let's stop believing that all women and mothers are Mother Mary.

lol know this feeling very well. used to be a photographer. took some pics for some co-workers who wanted family shots. would get dirty looks because obv it is a family photo shoot so everyone is dressed up in nice new clothes and we are at a flower park etc. dumb people would come up to my co-workers kids and ask "is this man taking your pictures without your consent?" and i would just laugh or "hey guys do you know this man?" or on purpose to attract attention "EXCUSE ME WHY ARE YOU TAKING PICTURES OF THESE LITTLE KIDS".

but shout out to the parents who always had my back. lol if you think these experiences where rough man i once went to take some long exposure pictures of a local carnival that was in town and was surrounded by around 6 county cops just verbally without any hesitation calling me a pedophile till i showed them my camera and the pictures where of carnival rides in long exposure.

a lot of why i stopped doing photography is because of just constant questioning by retarded ass people. i got detained dc for a hour because i was taking pictures of old timey dc architecture. i was with two other photographers of different race but they were let go but no they had to spend a hour trying to verify i wasn't mohammed on a mission to blow up shit with my nikon camera.

[–]TP_Crisis_2020 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The thing that stands out to me is if the genders were flipped and you were a woman doing this, nobody would even bat an eye. I've noticed more and more family and wedding photographers are women these days.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

yea in terms of family photography i would venture to say 99 percent now are females. i am out of the photo game but from the little bit i read and news i keep up on it seems a lot are female and are focused on doing family pictures and boudoir (for obv reasons).

a lot of wedding photographers are female as well now too so i would say photography i think at least is a field that is now or is pretty dominated by women.

my main focus was photojournalism so i covered a lot of protests so that is what really interested me in the photos i took and architecture. the family stuff always would end up being a co-worker who found out i took pics of some other co-workers family and would ask me.

i never charged anyone though. i did a couple weddings and conventions too but i never took a dime. for me it was for the love so if i was ever gonna charge money i knew it'd be time to hang it up.

i miss it though. i liked who i was when i used to photo.

[–]Panzer1119 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Wait did she pepper-spray him after learning they were his own children or before?

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points10 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

From the article, after. Think that's where it should be changed to a hate crime.

[–]NepoMi 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Yeah.... A year ago this happened....

I was taking care of my little brother for a day, he's 6, and he loves trains.... So I took him to the train station, just off to the side, and we just stood there, looking at trains. We were there for about 30 minutes, and then all of a sudden, two cops right behind me started talking to me.... They took my little brother off to the side, he started crying, I started yelling at them, and they didn't want to listen to me, and wanted to take me to the station....

I said, and I'm still proud of that, that I am going to call the state police, as they were just the city police.... At that moment they couldn't do anything.

The state police arrived pretty quickly, they let my brother come back to me, I could at least tell them what is going on without getting yelled at.... Those two city cops (both female) got suspended for 6 months.

What happened is that basically someone called the police on a man with a child for standing at a train station, looking at trains.....

Thankfully there was no trauma left on my little brother, and he still loves trains as much as he did before then....

The world is really fucked up thanks to the modern feminists, aka misandrists.

This is outrageous , it's unfair 😤, it's an insult to us real child predators who dedicate our whole lives to the art .
