when i graduated highschool i weighed about 270 and i decided to lose weight. i got down to about 180 in about a year and felt amazing. i kept that weight for a while but have recently gained a lot of weight (~230 now) due to life circumstances and mental health issues (over eating and sedentary lifestyle). i understand what needs to change with my habits and i'm taking steps to work on that, but i feel ashamed to even step out the door lately. i don't want anyone to see me. i'm in a committed relationship and they love me for who i am but i can't stop obsessing over my appearance. any advice on how to enjoy outings where people are examples of the goal you're working towards? i can't fathom it at the moment.
