A red pill principle is that whoever is more invested in a relationship is of lesser value. Without more info, what it looks like is she was seeing if she could get you invested. She now knows she is of higher value, so she's good for another 6 months.

If you get a situation like this again, always act too busy for her.

This is just break up validation. It comes in a lot of forms but the gist of it is that she wants to know that you still like her and that she is high enough value that you will drop everything and forget how terrible she was in order to be with her. If you ever fall into this and show her that you are interested then she gets her fill and knows that she is better than you. She then gets to hurt you all over again and fill her evil bar up a bit

IMO she wants to get under your skin. She succeeded. It's a litmus test. If you care, she's winning. If you've built yourself up as a man to a certain point, you wouldn't care.
