I'm 25 and still live at home. Hpuse hunting is painful and renting a house is not a good investment so yeah.

I wanted to get the fuck out of my parents place when I was 17, they were cool, not abusive or anything, just wanted to support myself and have some room to "reinvent" myself.

Moved out at 23, one of the best things I've done in my life, you're not an adult until you have to deal with taxes. I honestly can't understand how there's guys living off of their parents at 25+, I wouldn't be able to respect myself.

different people are different.

is there any value to you in living with them? are they good influences? are you costing them unduly? do what makes sense for you. do you develop bad habits from living by yourself or with peers? i learned housekeeping and cooking from my mother after college. i became more independent from living with them. i made it so both of my parents could spend more time generating income. it was mutually beneficial. does that work for often? most people don't have parents who can have an open dialog about life situations and needs, or who can both generate respectable income.

makes it hard to bang women, but at 20, you're not really banging many women.

i would love having more time to spend with my younger family. but you should always have a contingency plan. you shouldn't PLAN to "live with them for the next 3 years".
