I also understand Amber.

You see….

It is very easy for us as humans in modern society to judge condemn and crucify the villain while praising the victim, as it’s what we are raised to do.

Yet in doing so many times we fail to realize or look past the fact that many if not all villains where at one point victims themselves.

Furthermore we not only do not see this point but even (in some areas of life) crucify those for trying to point out this fact.

Amber at this moment does appear to be very guilty of a lot of things.

Some of which she accused Johnny of doing to her.

Yet we cannot argue the fact that Ambers upbringing was not the greatest.

We also cannot argue how difficult it is to live with one psychological disorder let alone multiple via co-morbidity, which Amber clearly has.

So as much as Amber is villain she is also a victim.

A victim of her own wiring of her mind.

A victim of her own negative upbringing.

A victim whom like many victims became the one to abuse.

And if I’m to be humble and honest here…

I too know what it’s like to be a victim who has on many occasions been an abuser on some level.

I’m sure many people at some point have been privy to my abuse even if it was short lived.

Perhaps a negative comment?

Perhaps a fit of rage?

Or some form if manipulation, emotional physical abuse?

Though some of these were rare compared to others, they still happened abd I have taken full accountability and resoindibility for them.

I am learning better and doing better.

But…

I don’t think I would have been able to do that had I not made peace with being human.

And I don’t think many make this peace.

Which is quite sad as I would argue everyone at some point has been a victim and an abuser.m, even if we did not mean to be.

Miscommunication between two souls makes this fact a reality.

Yet one thing many of us have not done is forgive ourselves for it.

Many of us still hold onto our negative actions a sort of shadow of who we are.

Reality is we are what we are and what we are is human and humans are innately flawed complex and unpredictable.

So perhaps as long as the abuses are accountable and aim to learn better and of better and prove they are, maybe it’s time we change our approach to how handle them?

Just a thought.

And something I thought would relate deeply if in fact you switched the genders and made the abuser an rper.

In fact try that now.

Look at past times you were abusive or abused and say, is there anyway I can understand why they did what they did without putting myself in it?

You may be surprised what you find.
