I'm still afraid I'm overreaching. Frankly, I've never had the most self-awareness. I feel very comfortable with other people's feelings. They aren't that hard to pick up on for me, and I feel confident about gaining an overview of someone's mannerisms quite quickly when we're first exposed to each other. But it's starting to look like I'm unsure of when I'm being as persistent as any other guy would, or if I'm actually showing signs of desperation. No one's ever told me. No girl has ever had to be "mean" to me (I don't like this wording, but it gets the point across) to get me to understand that I seem needy. There's only been one real time when a girl turned me down or whatever instead of not replying. She was pretty cool about it; she just said, "I'd appreciate it if you stopped hitting me up." I thought if anything, it'd be a little more dramatic. Any other girl it didn't work out with just stopped responding. So I truly haven't had any trustworthy feedback.

I was wondering if you guys could help me out. Can you give me detailed examples or stories or something so I have a better idea? Before about a year ago I was too scared to talk to girls and shit. Maybe I just haven't been turned down enough, and I know I don't get out enough, but I'm finding a way to remedy that. In the mean time though, I think it's best if I get a better grasp for my limits.

It'd be super helpful to have someone break this down for me. To be honest, I'm probably autistic, so don't be too hard on me.
