Was at a bonfire party ( 17 years old so still in highschool) and we planned on drinking. I'm chilling and then 4 of the girls start having "panic attacks" and head back to the house we were at. Long story short it's just me, one guy, and one (known slut) girl finishing the drinks. So here's where it gets all dramatic for no reason, bear with me. One girl who I've been talking ( call her k) to (we have been on a date and plan on dating her to try and lose my virginity) gets upset because she saw the slutty girl kiss me (it was like a peck on the lips and I didn't reciprocate in any way) and K was afraid we "did stuff" when she wasn't there. Me and the guy who I had been drinking with had planned on going to a different party ( I wanted to pretty bad) and drinking some more,but I figured I should smooth stuff out with K so I stuck around.

Here is where I think I set myself up for future failure... I basically talked to her and "apologized if it looked like I tried to hurt her" and "I didn't mean to do anything like that" and we kissed for the first time and held hands on the way back. Rest of the night we were kissing and together but it's been bugging me because I know from a RP perspective I really fuckrd this up guys. Can I get some advice on how I should have handled this in a better more RP way?
