My coworker has been bringing in a 2 litre bottle to work, which she fills with water and sips on throughout the day.

I thought it was a cool idea and decided to copy her. Buying one from Amazon (it was dark grey/black and angular, with a metallic handle and a capacity of 2.5 litres).

The day I brought it in, my coworker challenged me, stating that I purchased a “more masculine” bottle design with a larger capacity than hers due to “fragile masculinity”.

I bought the bottle because I liked that particular one, but have I subconsciously been swayed and is she right?
