We (31f, 36m) are together for 4 years but we used to live in a different country that's why I didn't really know his friends/extended family until recently as we moved to his country last year.

Since, a common commentary from his friends is how good looking I am, and how they would like to go to my country if they could too get girls like me. It's a joke, I get it, I don't mind but it annoys me how people seem to think I'm somehow better than my partner when he is such a great men. I feel uncomfortable.

In terms of looks, indeed, I'm closer to what people find ideal than him specially since I lost a good amount of weight recently, but he is smart, kind, hardworking and a great leader.

He doesn't seem to be affected by this but I'm afraid he may get insecure with this sort of commentaries. I don't want him to feel I'm better than him in any way, because I'm not.

How should I deal with it?
