Funny to see feminists claiming this woman’s achievement as their own when, in their own lives, they can’t even change a tire.

When I was in college a friend was performing at a poet’s cafe in NYC. Five of us (three women, two men, the other man was gay) decided to drive in from NJ to show support. On the ride in NYC the women wouldn’t shut up about feminist BS…until one of the tires blew. That’s when they turned to look at us and told us we had to fix the tire. I said that if they were real feminists they wouldn’t expect men to change the tire for them…they’d do it themselves.

Because the women were refusing to change the tire I got out of the car to do it and the gay guy, who’d never changed a tire before, got out to help me.

When we got back into the car and on the road I brought up how conditional their feminism is and I kept it up for the rest of the night. They were getting angry that I continued to address their hypocrisy but I kept it up anyway.

Feminists like to talk about how they can do anything a man can do but the reality is if men were to disappear tomorrow society would fall apart when women realized that they’d now have to do all of the dirty work they never thought about because men did it.

I love how this the only example they can provide of women being "strong."
