Couldn’t that same logic apply to anyone below 16 tho? Like you could say that a 15 year old can consent to anyone older because they might only be a month or a week into being 16? And then at that there would be no major differences between 16 or 15, or 14 year olds. I’m not disagreeing with you, I’m just pointing that out. You can simply use the same logic. And adding on to that, until you’re 18 you can’t consent to anyone that’s in a position of authority over you so that’s also something that needs to be taken into account. Example: a parent, a guardian (aunt, cousin), teacher, coach, etc. so there are many things at play when it comes to the age of consent. And then there’s the Romeo and Juliet rule that also applies in a fair amount of places. Like 14 year olds can’t consent to anyone 2 year older for instance in some places, and in other places 16 year olds can’t consent to a 18 year old if they’re a substitute or something like that.

The law varies and when it comes to things like this (adults having sex with anyone under the age of 18) it’s best to review the law in your area to be sure that what the adult and child are doing is okay. Because even in some cases, even if the teen is the age of consent and the adult isn’t in a position of authority if the parents want to press charges they can (tho most of the time it isn’t guaranteed since the law hasn’t been broken in these specific case and shouldn’t be).

It isn't an "increase" in incidents. These things all happened before. But "woman on child violence" wasn't as "big of a deal" before, culturally or socially. It was illegal and socially frowned upon, before the "Zero Tolerance/Letter of the Law" Feminist crowd arose causing an imbalance, through constant claims of female victimhood and constant villainization of men.

It's also noteworthy that much "woman on child violence" is "explained away" by biology aka Postpartum Depression. It does exist, but how much violence is falsely excused through false claims?

And there weren't as many cameras (or personal tech) before, so things were harder to "prove".

After the RadFem rise, the Masculinists needed to respond or become second class citizens, through non-participation in the "Victim Olympics".
