Mandates that all paternity tests be at the discretion of the mother and not be conducted if the test would put the child at risk.

Does this mean a pregnant woman can unilaterally declare that a man is the unborn child's father and the 'father' has no way to contest it? What happens if the man is subsequently proven to not be the child's father? Can he recover the payments? What if the father has no access to the child and is unable to conduct a post birth paternity test?

So what happens when you pay from conception and she gets an abortion later on... Or it turns out you aren’t the father after all... Do you get a refund? If I was a young man again I would be preparing to be a virgin until after vasectomy. Time for men to come together and stop giving these women attention, money and sex.

This kind of language is far too prevalent this day & age:

“Parents know that the cost of raising a child begins long before birth, and fathers need to take responsibility,“ said Senator Daines.

It is dripping with condescension and works to reinforce that image of men as not fully formed adults. That more than anything is why I am in the men’s rights camp. I feel like a social punching bag whenever I hear anyone speech like this.

Also the whole “paternity testing at the mother’s discretion” is BS if the presumed father is disputing paternity.

The whole child support issue is a byproduct of a much bigger problem facing men. It's always been in the spotlight but especially moreso now after Roe was overturned, and that issue is reproductive rights. Women's reproductive rights are infinite, in terms of endless forms of highly effective birth control and even abortion (which might be limited or end in some states but will still always be available). But men's reproductive rights are basically limited to using condoms or withdrawal, neither of which is particularly effective, and nowhere near as effective and easy to use as women's birth control. I would think this should be the biggest issue for the men's rights movement. Why for women is it "my body, my choice" and for men it's "I hope she took her birth control and isn't lying and I hope the condom doesn't break." Don't YOU DESERVE to decide whether you have a baby without relying on someone else's word or flimsy latex that feels like shit and ruins sex (for both parties)?

we used to stigmatize single motherhood because we thought it was probably a bad thing for society if children were raised without fathers.

Then we decided women can do it all and don't need no man, and we started acting like single mothers were heroes to be worshipped. and we found out that it was a bad thing for society for children to be raised without fathers.

It may not be fair, but it IS the real world. Single mothers are raising the next generation of prison inmates and junkies. if we're not willing to even talk about that, then all of this nonsense is pointless.
