I'm 36, and when I was a kid, I used to love the nightmare on Elm Street Movies, though I probably shouldn't have watched them at 5/6 years old.

I was thinking about this last night. Those movies make the perfect analogy of what it's like for a man to face off against a narcisstic woman. So, let's say the woman is Freddy Krueger. She kills you (defeats you) by pulling you into a dream state. These are false claims, gaslighting, the countless supporters and agencies that are ready to condemn you at the slightest hint that you did anything wrong, real or pretend.

In the movies, the main character would go around warning people or try to get help and people would ignore them. You would be called crazy, you would be told it wasn't real. People would look at you as if you were the crazy one.

At the end of the movies, the only way to defeat Freddy was to force him into the real world, where he was vulnerable. I'm trying to do that now. I'm trying to overwhelm my ex-wife's gas-lit reality with so much evidence that it shatters her make believe world.

I'm going to be straight up, it doesn't look good for us men. I look around on YouTube and generally, videos where men are talking about the realities of our situation are completely ignored. Videos that have 20, 30, maybe 50 views. Some with less. No one gives a single fuck about us. Most of us don't even care about us.

I'm trying to do the impossible, I'm trying to share my story as much as I can, as often as I can until I can get enough people to say damn, maybe there's a problem here. I can't give up. Not with my son being involved. Sometimes I feel that hopeless feeling come over me. Sometimes it feels inevitable that I'm going to lose, but hell, us men have lost our entire existence. Whether it's predators much bigger than us, armies that overwhelm us, laws and systems that prey upon us. If I have to lose, then I will lose fighting back as much as I can.

I wanted to share this one last time before I move onto the next video.
