I had another account banned on a "Christian" relationship sub for basically saying this:

No, you don't get to withhold affection, romance, and sex from your husband because he's not "supportive" enough. In fact, you've defined "supportive" vaguely enough that any act of emotional disappointment can be deemed "unsupportive". You've made your spouse a slave to your emotions.

Let's play role reversal. Imagine if a husband were to say, "Honey, you aren't giving me good sex. I'm not going to provide for you materially until that changes." We would consider this behavior abusive, manipulative, and deranged, yet it is not fundamentally different from what you're promoting. It's a double standard.

Failing to provide for someone materially is more serious than failing to provide for them sexually (at least in the short term), but I still think its a relevant point: the husband and wife often bring different provisions to the table, and the provisions are expected to present even if a spouse isn't getting their way in every area.
