I’m going through the divorce process and I’ve spoken to a few friends who had already been through this process and they had been super helpful, but I wanted to talk to more guys who have been through this as I don’t want to get screwed!

I have 3 kids 8 thru 12 and while the divorce decree seems fairly straight forward as we each work through what we want and the trade offs I can and can’t live with. My friends have me freaking scared out of my mind as they said their lawyers didn’t advise of certain things that were really legal issues but things they now have to live with.

Could anyone share things they wish they did differently in their divorce decree so maybe myself, and I’m sure others here too, could think through your experiences and try to avoid them?? Once that decree is signed, I really don’t want to be stuck with something that’s going to eat at me every single day!
