Met this guy(23M) through hinge and first date date on Saturday. We went to his city’s museum and then he took me (20F) shopping at his request(idk). He invited me over to his place or to go ice-skating (it was 30 F that day) but I declined, I already had to go meet up with my friend. The date ended, I gave him a quick peck goodbye at my own request and as soon as my Uber drove away, he texted me and told me that he enjoyed our time and that he likes me. Then we agreed on a second date and he told me that he would probably have to come to my city after Thanksgiving, which I said np and that we’ll work out the finer details after Thanksgiving.

He then left me on delivered for three days and popped up with a random “hey how was your day”. I sent a playful meme to poke at it and he responded in turn. He told me he was thinking about coming to my city next weekend and that he’ll be in town around Friday. I might’ve messed up here because I asked him why would he be in my city. I don’t know why I didn’t make the connection that he mentioned it because I agreed to a second date. I realized three hours later and texted “Wait, for our date or just passing by?” Both texts were left on delivered.

Did I mess up the communication or is he doing push-pull? What should I say?
