This is beautiful. We are discussing a lot the lack of role models and fatherly figures - I am over 40 (not from the U.S.) and I needed to hear what this man has to say. I recommend you to watch this. We probably all need that.

Someone asked in AskMen what guys refrain of saying because of fear of backlash, one guy wrote that a woman smacked his behind in a bar, he yelled at her, someone heard a male shouting at a female and called the police, they came, took him aside for questioning, did nothing with her, expelled him.

Feminism kills. The following is a post appearing on TrueOffMyChest. The feminist depiction of humanity as "one abusive sex, one abused sex" is the social hiding and legitimization of female violence and abuse under a guise of equality. When half of humanity is exempt of humane imperatives.

British MP to parliament: "A third of domestic abuse victims are male, yet male victims are defined as victims of 'violence against women', semantic nonsense, mockery of equality, will gov publish a specific strategy?" Minister: "If done, there will be complaints from women's organizations".

"You are the ones minimizing what SHE did". Two excellent easy-going bloggers from Canada calling out and pin-pointing the hypocritical treatment in the media of the Depp-Heard case, and the absurd criticism in the media of the moral response of tens of millions to lies and abuse by a woman.

The trend of trying to explain today's unwillingness of men to marry with "porn addiction and video games", is pure, distilled feminist anti-male dehumanization.

As an academic, I wish more people would be aware that the 60% majority of women in academia is entirely coming from adding to universities political departments and calling them "research departments" - gender studies, women's studies, sexuality studies.

Boys as young as 13 forced by ISIS women to impregnate them at women's Syrian detention camps. Drugged by Viagra-like drug until poisoning. Kept in tunnels. Ten rescued, total number of unaccounted for victims unknown. Sources report women decided to rape boys to enlarge the Caliphate.

No feminists. Men don't hate women. They hate only you.

We fight for the importance of love and support from a biological father. We are not father figures. We are simply fathers. And can't be replaced.

I get your point but I'll say this too... The older I get the more young men look to me as a "father figure". At first it shocked me. Now I embrace it. It's not "daddying" they're looking for, it's the wisdom of the elders. That used to be in their homes, next door, down the block. Our society has changed so much in the last 50 years. There's no constant interaction with elders now except seeing them as frail and a burden. It's time elder male mentorship became the norm again. Women and modern culture have kicked us out of our homes. It's time to stand up and demand our rightful place. Rant over, carry on.

You are an elder role model. Not a father. Who inherits your shit? That's what being a father means on the most basic level. Then there is giving up everything to take care of your child even until death. You don't do that for your mentees.

What about love? What about caring?

A child who lost their mother we feel badly for. When a father is removed from a child we say, well, he must have done something. And any man that wanders into the child's life we say "OK, he has a role model". The experiment in single mother households and father figures has been done now and is lacking especially for young men.

We need default 50/50 equal shared parenting to put fathers back in children's lives because children deserve two parents.

I completely understand what you are saying. I wasn't careful with my wording. I didn't mean to imply that other men are there to replace the fathers. I don't have a father. Mine passed away when I was in my twenties. I advanced through life like... well, like how a blinded animal runs through the bush, breaking branches and collecting cuts and bruises on the way, sometimes chasing a noise, sometimes escaping a voice. There was no one there to guide me. I made every mistake possible and trusted only my guts. I used to rely heavily on writers, novelists, I received advice and inspiration from their wisdom. And hope. And a sense of what it means being a man. But then, a few years ago, a very radical kind of feminism washed through the entire world and one of their main targets was those writers, and it became more and more difficult to gain power from them without recalling how they were trampled on and humiliated (there's a reddit with 600k members dedicated solely to denouncing classical writers for "contra-revolutionary" quotes, Hemingway, Orwell). And gradually people like me found themselves with very few sources of comfort, or inspiration. So listening to him gives me something. I feel almost as if I'm sitting there with him and nodding. That's all what I meant. I'm a father myself, I completely understand what you said.
