You may pick whatever 2, but Simply doing ALL 3 leads to all suffering. Leads her to feel underappreciated & most likely inevitably leads to the end of the relationship. Pawning your kids off to a day care isn't necessarily being a healthy functioning mother in my opinion...

Heal from your past. This means understand what triggers you and stop being reactive to them. This will make you more rational and easy to get along with because you won’t blame or try to change a man to appease you because of your past/trauma. Learn how to speak with love and encourage people with your words (Be sweet). Learn how to express your emotions in a way that you take full accountability for them. Take accountability for your decisions good and bad.

A couple of basic points would be to improve:

Appearance

Education (and hobbies/leisure pursuits)

Understanding of the male psychology in regards to relationships/marriage (how to receive what you need from your husband and be the wife you want to be)

Cool it on education. It brings debt & HVM really don't care about your earning potential or the competition. Especially if he's a high earner, he's not going to want you to work anyway. Don't have a CC riding Hoe past or Hot girl summers. If he even considers you may be a slut he'll turn Casper & ghost you. I find women very easily talk themselves out of relationships in regards to HVM. Believe me, you can't hide it or run from it, your past will always come up in regards to courtship, one way or another, sooner or later. Some women will tarnish their dating pool so bad they have to move to another state or city to reinvent themselves. A decent % of HVM understand women better then women believe they do & they can smell a bad past.

After you "heal from your past" (excellent advice), become a fantastic Paleo chef (high protein which men love) without the crappy calories. If you are even a 3 in looks, the first 2 will far outweigh that deficit. I've heard this from scores of HVM (be consistently nice and cook and put some efforts into the looks you have). Demonstrate sensible spending and you've got it made!
