I was in charge of our budget and taxes when we were married and half expect my ex to reach out to me for our tax returns or individual documents in the coming weeks. She should’ve received our 2020 and 2021 returns as hard copies during the divorce process but she was never the type to hang onto important documents.

Is there anything I need to consider about sharing tax returns with her? Do I need to block out my SSN? Is that overkill?

Any other rules of thumb or warnings? The divorce finalized October 2022 so I know I have the file as a single person but wondering if anyone else has wisdom to share.
