The series is just a mess, From the trailers and reviews I’m glad I spared my sanity from watching it. The amount of also white privileged joke’s used is ridiculous, not to mention from a clip how “Shaggy” gets laughed at for confessing his feelings for Velma who is just a plain bitch.

I gotta premise with Mindy Kaling could not possibly be running a psyop like She-Hulk, which still reminds me of a bloated dead call girl, tanning in the Florida summer.

The show is nothing more than a how to guide for "Cashing in on your victimhood, oppression, or identity crisis, narrative." Then using talentless writers who's sole purpose is to dismantle stereotypes, because "no one's paying us any attention."

If she had just stuck to the narrative of Fred is the gay jock, Shaggy the Stoner, and Daphne the rich girl you could write it with today's "Oppression Olympics."

Fred: White gay beta male (gotta have that representation and there's the "white guys amirite" trope) who works for a "strong independent wah-men."

Velma: See above; also in an open relationship (keeps current themes around sexual liberation for women) with her cuffing season bae Shaggy ⬇️

Shaggy: Who happens to be a black male, and runs his own cannabis cafe (successful black guy so much potential there), and their girlfriend is...

Daphne: The "successful" E-thot who used her families fortune, and connections to "build," her own brand, and is an influencer (model the Blake's after anyone you want).

You could use Shaggy's cafe (let's call it Munchies) as the hotspot for gossip, and where Velma gets most of her cases from. She overseas conversations, intervenes, and 🌟💨 poof💨🌟, we're off and running.

I think I just came up with something entirely better.

In the case of media the result is just bad shows. I mean, there are enough horrible right wing christian shows as well, Kevin Sorbo still needs work after all.

It becomes scary, when this same practice of giving out positions and titles based on politics happens in areas where there are real world consequences. Like in fire fighting, engineering or in the military. This certainly is not a new phenomenon. History is full of examples of old entrenched political systems that puts its noblemen in military command, that are then trounced by opponents that have some form of meritocracy.

I think the biggest issue I have here is that they have forgotten that they are supposed to be telling a story first with believable / characters that grow / develop as the story goes along.

Instead we get what is basically a gender studies lecture animated with some "punching up" humor thrown in.

I consume media to escape reality because lets face it, reality fucking sucks sometimes.
I don't consume media to be bashed over the head with feminist dogma about how "privileged" men are.

Its the same reason that I knew that High Guardian Spice was going to be an absolute failure.
Considering the promotional material for it harped on and on about their "Diverse" writing team (All women) you could tell instantly that the show was going to be 100% woke and essentially a gender studies lecture in disguise.

But yeah, I have not watched this abomination and frankly I have no intentions to..
Here's hoping HBO simply cancels it faster than Netflix cancels a successful series / franchise.

I think my problem with Mindy Khaling is I never watched The Office, so I've got no baseline of "she is funny" to start from. I've just been force fed this person who is strikingly unfunny in everything I have seen her in.

Tv show is terrible. So weird a show that depicts high school teens talking about sexual body parts and shit like that. I mean the cartoons I watched in my day had some wild adult humor in there but at least the TV shows didn’t suck this bad. How dare you think you can make your own scooby doo spin off and not include the main characters. Probably a real grandiose egotistical viewpoint of themselves.
