Something tells me there must be some other factor(s) at play for them to actually apply the statutory rape standard fairly in a case where the victim is male. I'd be pleasantly surprised if it turns out they're finally trying to protect young men by actually punishing female predators, but this is unfortunately still the exception, not the norm.

The worst one as far as double standards that I think I've ever seen is this one... Would a man, after the 3 year long continual rape and molestation of a 6th grade girl in his care, be found guilty of and sentenced to 2 months in jail, ro be served out only AFTER he was allowed to spend even more time with an even more immature and vulnerable child in his care? Just let that sink in for a minute... female teacher sexually assaults 6th grade boy for 3 years and gets a delayed sentence of 60 days -to give birth to and bond with her baby- and therapy as punishment.
