TBH this fox news piece feels (surprise!) manipulative.

The concept of false balance orbothsideism is old and it makes good sense. In a news abou flath earthers it does not make sense to give their arguments 50% of the time.

Read carefully what the quoted journalist say, they do not reject truth.

The more an elite feels cornered, the more journalism bias it will buy.

All the excuses that are given regarding objectivity and biased reports can be summarized in a single concern: "no elite bankrolls a journalism that covers both perspectives"

As beaten as it may seem, this is how journalism works in a democracy, it is obvious that objectivity and other outdated precepts like "free speech" are delusions of a white male world view, as aristotle said:

"Masculine republics give way to feminine democracies, and feminine democracies give way to tyranny"
