Recently I have discovered the manosphere and RP community, say within the last 3-4 months. For the last 2-3 weeks, things have been really starting to make more sense in my mind with all the different angles to the game. I'm not "unattractive" but it was awesome getting some numbers from hot women recently, given my personal lack of history with women. I have yet to 'follow through' on any leads but I have had more fun flirting than ever before in my life.

Last weekend I had a blast at the local watering hole, talked to a fair number of women. Ended up at somebody's house for an after party but it was all guys, one female. Another couple showed up later but that is besides the point.

My outgoingness was definitely way up from what is "normal" for me. Socializing with more women (and also more people in general) had me on a natural high, and combined with alcohol I was only slightly lippy.

I said something that pissed off some guy - completely by mistake. From what I remember, I apologized and minded my own business for the rest of the night. When everybody was leaving the party later that night, I got jumped. He headbutted me, took me down, held me down, and punched me multiple times. Now, after dripping nose blood for almost a week I got X-rays and, yup, nasal fracture and facial fracture, but it could have been way worse.

Has anybody had similar problems? I usually keep to myself at parties and only talk to people I know. Given, some people are just assholes, but why or how could I have seen this coming? Or prevented it? I'm not hugely muscular but I'm fit - thinking about self defense training. I don't blame TRP but it was totally like, everything happening at once...

EDIT: just thought I should emphasize that the altercation had nothing to do with women and there weren't that many women at the place. It was more of a drunk person problem than a woman problem, but I have never dealt with anything like this outside of a RP mindset
