All boils down to 'no imagination'. No fun, no fantasy no dreams of any kind. And we expect kids to succeed beyond us? All it does is breed more hypersensitive, hair-trigger/ban-happy moral guardians.

Attitudes like this make me nervous if I ever have children.

I have a large gun collection and shoot competitively. My kid is going to be learning about gun safety as a toddler and I plan on having him in the range with me by the time he's in Kindergarten.

All I can imagine is the police and CPS at my door because he got in trouble for playing like this and told the teacher something like "But daddy lets me use his real guns."

The only kid who deserves punishment is the girl who told on the two boys; someone needs to teach her morals. I honestly think that adults, who react with like the teacher did here, shouldn't be around children; they don't understand normal children's behaviour.
