"Financial abortion" is a very unpleasant term to some people (which will make it even less likely to be written into law), and we should try to end its use. "Legal paternal surrender" or something like that is a much better choice.

As for the link... it's nice to see that so many Redditors understand the issue so well.

I'm in the minority in this sub that I think LPS is a bad idea.

At the end of an abortion, there's no baby to look after. If someone signs away their rights to a child and that child is brought to term, the burden is no longer split between two people and is placed upon one person, and babies aren't cheap.

I don't have the answer, but I don't think LPS is a good idea.
